It has seven large studio flats that are attractively furnished and provide opportunities for:
· Personal space
· Retention of personal belongings
· Socialising with friends and relatives
· En-suite bathroom facilities
· Encouraging independence
Our staff team will ensure that service users receive the support that they require to
maximise development in all areas of life, aiming towards fulfilling potential and
increasing independence, moving on to supported living where possible.
Facilities
Our unit has a communal TV lounge/sitting room, an automatic washing machine and dryer is available through out the day, and service users are encouraged to do their own laundry with appropriate staff assistance. Since every service user’s room is lockable, they may leave valuables /jewelry safely in their rooms. Each service user is provided with a starter pack which includes a mini fridge/freezer, kettle, cups, plates and disposable cutleries.
With regards to service user’s monies, the individuals’ ability to handle their own money may be determined at the initial assessment and at regular intervals through out their stay in our unit. |

The dining area offers residents an area where they can join the company of others at meal times and is also an important feature of the home. There is a dedicated office/key working room. The home is located close to an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of Ayurvedic therapies that can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents. In addition, we have close links with local voluntary organisations and are able to provide dditional varied activities depending on the interests of service users. Visitors are welcome at any time and in addition all our facilities are extended to close friends and family. We are looking for immediate referrals. |
